The Wireless M-Bus sensor is a battery-powered, wireless temperature and humidity sensor that uses existing smart metering infrastructure such as Multi Utility Communication Devices (MUC) as a standard gateway for DSL, GPRS and Powerline networks.
It is ideally suited for measuring flow and return temperatures on pipes or for measuring the temperature of pumps and motors.
The sensor uses a wireless protocol that complies 100% with the Wireless M-Bus Open Metering Specification (OMS).
In the (changeable) default setting the sensor sends every 15 minutes, the battery life is approx. 5 years.
The device has a replaceable 3.6V lithium battery
