Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). The use includes the operation mode “Universal Analytics”. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze a user’s activities across devices.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is § 15 para.3 TMG or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Sessions and campaigns are terminated after a certain period of time. By default, sessions are terminated after 30 minutes of no activity and campaigns are terminated after six months. The time limit for campaigns can be a maximum of two years. For more information on terms of use and data privacy, please visit https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent future collection of your data when visiting this website. To prevent collection by Universal Analytics across devices, you must opt-out on all systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics

Google AdWords

This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and as part of it the conversion tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers.

The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can learn more about this via Google’s privacy policy at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Use and application of Bing Ads

On this website, Bing Ads technologies collect and store data from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

The operating company of the Bing Ads services is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 , USA.

This service makes it possible to track the activity of users on the website when they have arrived at the website via ads from Bing Ads. If you access our website via such an advertisement, a cookie is set on your computer. A Bing UET tag (Universal Event Tracking tag) is integrated on the website. This is a code through which some non-personal data about the use of the website is stored in connection with the cookie. This includes, among other things, the length of time spent on the website, which areas of the website were accessed and via which ad the users arrived at the website. Information about your identity is not collected.

The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the United States of America and stored there for a maximum of 180 days.

You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by our website, as already described above under point 10.

In addition, it is possible for Microsoft to track your usage behavior across multiple of your electronic devices through so-called cross-device tracking and is thus able to display personalized advertising on or in Microsoft websites and apps. You can disable this behavior at choice.microsoft.com/en/opt-out.

For more information about Bing’s analytics services, please visit the Bing Ads website ( help.bingads.microsoft.com). For more information about privacy at Microsoft and Bing, see Microsoft’s privacystatement (privacy.microsoft.com/en/privacystatement).

Use and application of Hotjar

This website uses Hotjar. The provider is Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe (website: https://www.hotjar.com).

Hotjar is a tool for analyzing your user behavior on this website. With Hotjar, we can record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Hotjar can also determine how long you have stayed with the mouse pointer on a certain spot. From this information, Hotjar creates so-called heat maps, which can be used to determine which website areas are viewed preferentially by the website visitor.
Furthermore, we can determine how long you stayed on a page and when you left it. We can also determine at which point you abandoned your entries in a contact form (so-called conversion funnels). In addition, Hotjar can be used to obtain direct feedback from website visitors. This function serves to improve the web offers of the website operator.

Hotjar uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies or use of device fingerprinting).

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its web offering and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Disable Hotjar

If you wish to disable data collection by Hotjar, click on the following link and follow the instructions there: https://www.hotjar.com/opt-out

Please note that disabling Hotjar must be done separately for each browser or device. For more information about Hotjar and the data it collects, please see Hotjar’s privacy policy at the following link: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy

Job processing

We have concluded an order processing agreement (AVV) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that this processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Hotjar’s privacy policy at https://www.hotjar.com/de/legal/support/dpa/.

Cookies

The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes contents, services and performances of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is mandatory. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) thus perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we strive to use only third-party providers that only require the IP address to deliver content, we have no control over whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among others. If we are aware that the IP address is stored, we inform our users of this fact.

Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer.
